SYMA X8 Pro Instruction Manual

Main Characteristics

• Four-axis structure is applied, which makes the quadcopter more flexible and rapid when flying. It has the characteristics of wind-resistant and can be flied indoor or outdoor.
• Built-in 6 axis gyroscope for precise hovering in the sky.
• Modular design structure is applied, more simple for assembly and convenient for maintenance.
• Possess GPS Positioning, One-Key Return, Loss Control Return, Low battery Return, One-Key Ascending/Descending, Headless, Barometer Set Height, Four regular function (Ascending/Descending, Left/Right, Forward/Backward, Left/Right Trimming) etc.

Safety Regulations

• Please put smaller parts of the quadcopter in the place where children can't reach, avoiding from accidents.
• Power of this quadcopter is adequate. Therefore, when flying for the first time, it should push remote control's right/left variable-speed joystick slowly, avoiding from collisions caused by rising quadcopter rapidly.
• After flying, please turn off the power of quadcopter and controller, also take out the batteries from controller.
• Please don't put battery in high-temperature and heated places (such as fire or nearby  eletric heating devices).
• When the quadcopter flies, it should maintain 2-3 meters from the user or others, avoiding from crashing into others' head, face or  body when it lands.
• When children operate the quadcopter, they should be accompanied with the adult and guided by the adult. Ensure that the quadcopter is controlled within the range of operator's (or instructor's) visibility. It is convenient for controlling.
• Non-rechargeable battery can't charge. As installing or changing battery, please pay attention to the polarity. Don't use a mixture of old and new battery or battery with different types/
• When it isn't used, it should turn off power supply of remote controller and quadcopter, respectively, and take out the battery in remote controller.
• Power supply terminal can't be short circuit.

Maintenance

• Use clean soft cloth to clean this product frequently.
• Avoid from exposure or heating in the sun.
• Don't put the toy in the water. Otherwise, it'll damage electronic parts.
• Please check the plug and other accessories ar regular intervals. If there is any damage, please stop using it immediately until it is repaired compeletely.

Assembly/Disassembly of Quadcopter's Guard Circle

Assembly of Guard Circle:

Insert guard circle into principal axis's interface.

Disassembly of Guard Circle:

Pull out guard circle while push it up.

  

Assembly/Disassembly of Quadcopter's Fan Blade

Assembly of Fan Blade:
1. Insert fan blade into principal axis pipe.









2. Use spanner to fix the hexagon parts below the principal axis, after push down fan blade A, rotate it anti-clockwise to lock it and then rotate the fan blade B clockwise to lock it









3. Cap the fan blade.










Disassembly of Fan Blade
1. Decap the fan blade









2. Use spanner to fix the hexagon parts below the principal axis, after push down fan blade A, rotate it clockwise to unlock it and then rotate fan blade B anti-clockwise to unlock it.








3. Pull out the fan blade.

Assembly/Disassembly of Camera

    Assembly of Camera:                                                            Disassembly of Camera:

1. Aim the camera towards the socket.
2. Put the camera cable into the socket.
3. Remove the camera cable.
4. Push the camera fixed button while remove the camera.

Assembly/Disassembly of Phone Clip

      Assembly of Camera: 

1. Insert the phone clip onto the remoter's interface
2. Push the spring on the  phone clip hardly to adjust the size.
1. Press the push up the phone clip.

Battery Replacement and Charging Method

1. Turn off aircraft's power supply, and push the switch to "OFF" Figure.




2. Pull the battery out while press the fix component at the bottom of battery.




3. Insert adapter's DC outlet into import socket of balanced charger. Red light of balanced charger will light on.







4. When the battery is fully charged, put the battery back onto the aircraft.

Charge time: about 150 minutes  Flying time: about 9 minutes

Cautions when charging:

1. When charging, please put this product on a dried or ventilated area and keep it far away from heat source or explosive product.
2. When charging, please remove the batteries from the quadcopter. Then charging process should be supervised by an adult so as not to cause and accident.
3. When finish flying, please do not charge the battery of the surface temperature is still not cool. Otherwise it may cause a swollen battery or even a fire hazard.
4. Please make sure that you use the original USB charging cable provided. When the battery has been used for a long time, or appears to be swollen, please replace them.
5. A battery when not in use for a long time will lose its charge automatically. Charging or discharging too often may reduce the life of the battery.

Ready to Fly your Quadcopter

I. Pre-Flight


1. Turn on the power of remoter.







2. Install the copper sheet which inside the aircraft battery slot onto the socket on the battery.







3. Hold the power button of the aircraft for 2 seconds and make the aircraft on the status "ON".






4. Push the throttle lever to the highest position, and then pull it back to the lowest position. There will be one clear sound from the transmitter, this shows that the quadcopter has entered into the pre-fly state.




II. Start the Aircraft                   


Method One:
Push the throttle lever to the highest position and then back to the center point. The blade starts to revolve slowly. 






Method Two:
Push the throttle lever "toe in" for one second, the blade starts to revolve slowly.





Method Three:
When the aircraft is still, press the B bottum, the aircraft will reach at certain level after the blade revolving.





III. Turn Off the Aircraft       


Method One:
Push the throttle lever to the lowest position for 2-3 seconds can turn off the aircraft.






Method Two: 
Push the throttle lever "toe in" for one second are able to turn off the aircraft. 





Method Three:
When the aircraft is flying, press the B buttom and aircraft will land slowly and turn off the aircraft.
